Dr. Yancey grew up in Kansas, but moved to Florida to pursue a bachelor’s degree in marine science from Eckerd College. She spent a few years in Florida working as a zookeeper and aquarist before returning home to attend veterinary school at Kansas State University and graduated in 2015. She previously worked at a progressive 24 hour emergency hospital in the Northwest Chicago suburbs. Although she is only working for us on a part-time basis, her professional interests include preventive medicine, internal medicine and exotics. At home she enjoys spending time with her husband Ben, two cats Jack & Jill, coonhound mix Jimmy, and saltwater fish. Her hobbies include baking, hiking, yoga, and painting. She truly cares about offering the best she can for each and every patient and excited to work with you!
Our veterinarians are dedicated to providing the best possible healthcare by getting to know you and your pet.
